The BlueLift APL (autonomous pallet lift) system was designed to address the need for lifting the pallet from floor level to a height that can be used with autonomous mobile robots (AMR’s) or autonomously guided vehicles (AGV’s). The hydraulic lifting system on the BlueLift is controlled by a PLC which can communicate wirelessly with the AMR vehicles or feet server software using the industrial internet of things (IIOT) MQTT protocol. This results in an extremely robust and lightweight communication link between vehicle and lift, making it extremely easy to deploy and maintain.
